PNWPNews- Under this agreement or New York Agreement between the Netherlands Government and the Government of Republic of Indonesia. Therefore, there is no reason for the government of Republic of Indonesia to stop carrying out obligations to wake up West Papua on all fronts and we are very appreciative. But I need to remind the government of the Republic of Indonesia is, there is obligation of the government of Republic of Indonesia which has not been implemented in west Papua, namely, on the right of the Melanesians People in West Papua to self-determination according to the New York Agreement in engineering in 1969, which was known with PEPERA.Right to self-determination is in demand by the Melanesian people of Papua in the west today is part of the help and encourage the implementation of a government’s obligation of the Republic of Indonesia in West Papua. If so then there is no reason for the government of the Republic of Indonesia rejected the demands of the Melanesian people’s right to self determination in west Papua, and only development and prosperity in priority.

But both (the right of self-determination and development) in west Papua shall be implemented as government obligations of Republic of Indonesia. In the coming months the People of West Papua was ready to convey to the government of the Republic of Indonesia for the implementation of the referendum in west Papua as government obligations of the Republic of Indonesia.
